Richard Dawkins loses it

October 1, 2007

In an interview with the Guardian, he said: “When you think about how fantastically successful the Jewish lobby has been, though, in fact, they are less numerous I am told – religious Jews anyway – than atheists and [yet they] more or less monopolise American foreign policy as far as many people can see. So if atheists could achieve a small fraction of that influence, the world would be a better place.”

Guess we can look forward to his new book The Jewish Gene — you know, that all-conquering, world-dominating, oppressive Jewish gene thing we first learned about in The Protocols.

Go Richard.

Go Walt. Go Mearsheimer.

Go Ahmadinejad.

Hat tip: Norm Geras.

  1. Conflating evolutionary theory and Dawkins with old anti-semitic tripe: not “losing it” yourself Rob?

Dawkins is not allowed to use his media presence as a famous scientist to make a political statement? Wouldn’t you, in his position be sprouting the Likudnik line?

If atheists and humanists had proportional influence to the Jewish lobby in US politics, the world would indeed be a SAFER place.

(The inference you have drawn that Dawkins is an anti-semite is disgraceful, but then again to be expected of an over sensitive Likudnik.)

  2. Thanks, Peter, Incisive as ever.

  3. The jewish lobby is very powerful, it is not his imagination, nor is it necessarily anti-jewish. You might say it is all part of, “Never Again!”
